A handcrafted instrument, private instruction, and everything you need to go from owning a guitar to actually playing it.

This is no ordinary guitar. Luthier Wayne Gaiteri has handcrafted a fully fretted, complete and playable cigar box guitar—an instrument with roots in American folk and blues traditions and a personality all its own. Each guitar is individually made, so you're getting a one-of-a-kind musical instrument as well as a distinctive piece of craftsmanship.

Perfect for a beginning musician, an experienced guitarist looking for something completely different, or someone who appreciates handcrafted objects with a story, this package gives you something you won't find hanging on the wall of a music store: a guitar made by hand and the instruction to put it to use.

Your winning bid also supports Oxford Community Center while celebrating the musicians, makers, and arts organizations that make our community distinctive.
